Gathering supplies
Use press cloth(cloth diaper), to protect your leather from the iron while pressing seams.
Use clips, not pins, to hold together.
Sides are 5" wide
Pumpkin I made, now a pincushion! 
Of course, minus the little helper, take it to your machine & sew using a 1/2" seam allowance 
My little helper, Mattie, tuckered herself out.
